Problem
Through wall defect and wear in pump caused by sewage and particles in wastewater was to be repaired and lined with intention of getting more lives out of the pumps.

Application Situation
Pumps was badly worn due to particles in sewage and wastewater. Therefore, customer needed to not only repair but protect pumps from future occurrence.
Application Method
Pumps were grit blasted to SSPC SP10. First pump was rebuilt, hole repaired using a metal plate and entire interior covered with Belzona 1111. Wear on inside of pump 2 also rebuilt using Belzona 1111. Afterwards, two coats of Belzona 1321 were applied to both pumps.
