What industries do you work with?

We support a wide range of industries, including mining and quarrying, water and wastewater, power generation, manufacturing, food a beverage, petrochemical, oil and gas, and infrastructure. Our products are designed to help maintain, protect, and repair critical assets in demanding environments.

Yes. We understand that unplanned downtime can be costly, so our team is available to provide fast technical support and delivery options when urgent repairs are required.

Belzona materials are suitable for both maintenance and new construction. They are often used as protective coatings, bonding systems, and surface protection during new builds to extend service life and reduce long-term maintenance costs.

Yes. We regularly host in-person or virtual sessions for engineering teams, maintenance groups, and contractors. These sessions highlight key product features, application techniques, and success stories from local projects.

Repair and Application Questions

Can Belzona be used to repair concrete damage or spalling?

Yes. Belzona offers high-performance polymeric mortars such as Belzona 4111 and Belzona 4131, ideal for rebuilding and resurfacing damaged concrete. These materials bond strongly to existing substrates and provide excellent chemical and mechanical resistance, making them suitable for industrial facilities, municipal infrastructure, and manufacturing plants.

Belzona 1111 (Super Metal) is used for general-purpose metal rebuilding and bonding, while Belzona 1311 (Ceramic R-Metal) contains ceramic reinforcement for improved wear and abrasion resistance.

Belzona 1311 is particularly suited for high-wear applications in industries such as mining, quarrying, and slurry processing, including pump casing repairs and other areas exposed to abrasive slurry or solids.

Yes. Belzona offers a range of cold bonding and structural adhesive systems that provide a safe and effective alternative to welding.

Conventional repair systems such as 1111, 1212, and 1161 are used for metal bonding, plate attachment, and equipment rebuilding. Structural adhesive Belzona 7311 is designed for high-strength structural repairs and is often used where FEA modeling indicates critical load-bearing requirements. It provides superior load transfer and stress distribution compared to conventional cold bonding systems.

Cold bonding eliminates the risks of heat distortion, sparks, or confined-space hot work while offering long-term mechanical performance when applied correctly.

Yes. Most Belzona coatings are suitable for continuous immersion and wet service.

For general service, Belzona 5811 is often the most cost-effective and versatile solution. In more aggressive conditions with higher temperatures, harsher chemicals, or applications requiring surface tolerance, other coatings such as Belzona 1391T, Belzona 4311, or Belzona 5831 may be more appropriate.

Belzona provides several products designed for fast emergency repairs, but suitability depends on the service conditions, such as temperature, chemical exposure, and mechanical load. Cure times vary accordingly, and some systems can achieve full mechanical cure in as little as 45 minutes under appropriate conditions.

Products commonly used for emergency situations include Belzona 1221, Belzona 1212, Belzona 1251, and Belzona 2311. These systems are ideal for urgent repairs in pipelines, pumps, tanks, and other critical equipment, minimizing downtime and restoring service quickly, provided the chosen product matches the specific service requirements.

Belzona materials are suitable for both maintenance and new construction. They are commonly used as protective coatings, bonding systems, and surface protection during new builds to extend service life and reduce long-term maintenance costs.

Yes. Moisture-tolerant products such as Belzona 1212 and Belzona 5831 can be applied directly onto wet or underwater surfaces. This makes them ideal for emergency repairs, marine applications, and other situations where surface drying is not feasible.

The service life depends on operating conditions, surface preparation, and proper product selection. Under correct application and normal service conditions, Belzona repairs often last 2 to 20 years or longer, significantly outlasting conventional repair methods.
