Application Situation
The deep well submersible pumps are used for storm water and also see’s hydrocarbons from ground water run off’s, the pumps have experienced erosion and corrosion issues.
Application Method
Pumps were dismantled by the site’s maintenance team and all parts of the equipment received grit blasting and than cleaned using Belzona 9111. All areas requiring rebuilding was completed using Belzona 1121 due to the extended working life and the overcoat window time. Belzona 1321 was used for the internal coating and Belzona 4311 was used on the externals of the equipment.
