Application Situation

Belzona was chosen as the preferred option not only because it was safer and time efficient to apply but also gives extra protection to the area.

Application Method

Area to be repaired and plate to be bonded were both grit blasted to SSPC SP10 level of cleanliness. Solvent wiping wArea to be repaired and plate to be bonded were both grit blasted to SSPC SP10 level of cleanliness. Solvent wiping was done afterward to get rid of remaining contaminants after vacuuming. Belzona 1111 was applied separately on both area and the plate and then bonded together to give a wet on wet application. After stabilization, Belzona 5811 was applied on the area to seal the perimeter and also give extra protection.
